Youth Group

Parish Life and Service Ministries

​Parish Events Ministry (New): 

Please consider being part of this team that organizes receptions and parish functions throughout the year to build community. Meetings will take place when required.

Craft Group:

Consider learning and sharing your talents within our craft group. All items; crafts, knits, crocheted will be sold and 100% proceeds goes to the Church Fund.  Knitted toques and mitts are donated to Good Shepherd Refuge or SVDP or Rosalie Hall. Adults above 21 are invited.

Youth Ministry (New):  

EDGE Youth Group is designed to meet the needs of students in grades 5 to 8. The group meets  2nd Friday of the month from January to June. Adult volunteers assist in the running of the program. Training is provided.

SLM Young Adults (New):  

Young Adults from 19 to 39 are invited to gather and connect for programs, events and fellowship.

Knights of Columbus: 

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic organization for men. SLM Knights Council concentrates its efforts within the parish by sponsoring  family activities, recreational events, charitable endeavors, and fundraising. All   Catholic adult men, 18 years of age and older, are welcome to join.   ​​

Finance Council: 

This committee works closely with the pastor to provide advice on the financial concerns of the parish. Members must have some experience in finance, property, legal and personnel administration. This ministry is by invitation from the Pastor.  If you are interested, please contact the parish office for more information.

Volunteer Screening Committee:  

Committee members help the pastor by screening all volunteers who serve in high risk ministries, according to the policies and procedures of the Ontario government and the Archdiocese of Toronto. Training is provided. 

 Collection Counter:  

Collection counters work in teams to assist in the accurate counting of weekly and special collections for the parish. Counters must be able to maintain confidentiality and show discretion. If you are interested, please contact the parish office for more information.
